My mission is to travel to as many places as possible before I go back to America in May!

ABOUT ME

I'm a very outgoing and loving person. I'm from a small town in North Dakota. I attend the University of Minnesota Duluth but as of right now I'm attending the University of Birmingham, UK as a Study Abroad Student along with 43 others. I'm a double major in Theatre and Communications. I love the theatre, and I enjoy many things such as: cooking, baking, scrapbooking, barefoot waterskiing, ALL water sports, and music. I also love to travel!

PHILOSOPHY

There are many things that I tell me self everyday for motivation and strength. When I'm working out I always tell myself "What doesn't kill me makes me stronger." I use that a lot when times are hard and it always gets me through. I also say "No day but today" I live everyday as if it's my last, but I don't go 'crazy.' I understand everything in life happens for a reason and whatever happens in my life each and everyday will only make me stronger and grow as a person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm telling everyone in my Study Abroad program in get involved and signed up for couchsurfing instead of booking hostels all the time! I haven't used couchsurfing yet, but I'm very excited to use it throughout my backpacking spring break around Europe!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any couchsurfing experiences yet. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE meeting new people and I'm fired up too!

Interests

I'm interested in barefoot waterskiing, baking, cooking, scrapbooking, sewing, quilting, music, dancing, singing, watching films, working out, and hanging out with my friends and family. I'm pretty much interested in everything! I love to go somewhere new and try something new, I love to learn too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that I've seen In my lifetime actually just occured! I got to witness Barack Obama win as the next President of the United States! The first African American in history and I got to vote. Fantastic!

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I enjoy doing during the summer is barefoot waterski with my Aunt Betsy. I also live on a small farm in North Dakota but I came from the cities so I could share my experience with that.
