Time to travel again! I have given up my job and my flat and no longer live in Hamburg. I am free like a bird!
I have started off with a 2,5 months travel throughout Japan - I mainly did the longest and oldest pilgrimage in the world on Shikoku and did 1200 kms by foot in 52 days. Being a vegetarian and not speaking Japanese plus this amazing pilgrimage in the Japanese countryside might be one of the last real adventures if you like food and dont want to limit yourself to rice and bread only. Loved the country and crazy experience and so much looking forward for the rest to come on my world trip: New York, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Hawaii, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia and India.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am not a big fan of doing "tourist stuff". I prefere meeting locals and you will find me rather on a food market or in a Café than in a tourist attraction. So I get the vibe of a city... I have travelled in all kind of ways but have not been able to experience the "couchsurfing experience" so I would love to stay on your couch if you let me :-). But also meeting locals would be fabulous - so maybe you have time and pleasure to catch up with me for a coffee or nice vegetarian dinner or a cold beer?
