ABOUT ME

I'm a big sports fan (especially Chicago sports). I play bass guitar in a band and we recently cut a 5-song EP. I love doing any kind of outdoor activity...hiking, swimming, sports, etc. Very easy going, a little shy, but can warm up very quickly.

PHILOSOPHY

Realizing that everyone and everything in nature is connected.

I just really enjoy going at my own pace and not having to compromise that to run at the speed the world does. I'm not in a hurry to get married or discover a career; I believe these things will happen naturally and there's no set time when these institutions have to take form. I'm just now discovering that that time is SO precious and am trying to make the most of by taking some risks and seeing part of the world, if it is only for a brief amount of time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen the tip of New Zealand nestled in the Pacific from miles and miles above in the comfort of my airplane seat.

Jumped into some rapids and let the current guide me and take control.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a self taught musician and have been playing bass guitar for about 7 years. I'm don't have a very good background in music theory, but if needed I could teach someone the basics on bass guitar and guitar as well; as long as they are a beginner.

My major at university was "Media Production and New Technology." That's just a fancy title for Audio/Visual guy. While attending Northern Michigan University I took some audio production classes as well as a studio TV production class. I learned how to edit audio along with some rudimentary stages of multi-track digital recording using "Pro Tools" software.

In the television studio production classes, I ran a studio camera, was the technical director, and the director too. I also did a bit of post-production, editing some video using "Final Cut Pro."

So, I have a bit of a background in media production and some musical talents as well. Sports has also been a big part of my life, American sports mostly, and I have vast amounts of useless knowledge about that.
