About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stay out of the monkey suit - and see what's around the next corner

ABOUT ME

I think I have a problem. There is just so much out there and I want to see, taste, feel, swim in, know just about all of it. Sure there are a few things I'm not interested in: accounting... and... yeah that might be it. My goal is to learn as much as I can in the time available, try and remember some of it, pass it on to anyone who cares and make damn sure I have a great time in the process.
I like being barefoot.

PHILOSOPHY

Real joy can be found in the littlest things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Still not settled, so no couch, but I would be happy to answer questions on any of the places I have been and just maybe I will be able to find a spot for you to stay. Whenever I have a couch or a little spot on the floor, it will be open to anyone stopping by.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some great people - both visitors and locals - in Lima through the awesome couchsurfing community while living there. And then the Uruguayans - the best!

Interests

See above - pretty much anything. Food! (eatingsharingmakingfeeling - dirty fingers, happy belly)My greatest passions are photojournalism, diving and marine conservation, mangoes, riding (horses that is), snowboarding (unlikely for a small town South African, but true) cheese, wine(!) fire poi and and just chilling with good food, tunes (jazz!) and friends.Just sometimes, absolute silence.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Eish, luckily, too much. I'm very easily impressed. We'll talk about it over a gin...

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to share anything about anywhere I've been - some places I can be more helpful than others - email me!

Would like to learn how to fly, otherwise, sailing would be a good substitute.
