ABOUT ME

First of all- we live in Prescott not Goodyear. IT WONT CHANGE DARN IT! Anyway...My name is Miranda and I have two sons, Bowen (12) and Stone(10). I am finishing up nursing school and anticipate graduating in May 2009. After that, I would really like to take my kids on a 6 week journey around the world! I feel so guilty for all the 'neglect' they have received from me in my efforts to graduate as a smart nurse on very little income. I am not so much a gift giving parent, as I am much more of a memory maker. I have a lot of positive memories to catch up on.

Visit often as I will be improving our profile at the end of this semesters finals.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We invite anyone who would like to visit our area, as we always have friends and family staying with us. We have a very cozy couch, two dogs, one cat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was down, down, down in a yucky state in my life I hiked Havasupai Falls in the Grand Canyon. I went with a class at YC with a bunch of strangers. I amazed myself at my accomplishment. Since then, I have done many solo road trips and not afraid to try new things as I would have in the past.

Teach, Learn, Share

Parenting by example is the best way I can teach my kids right now. Through my kids they will pass on their experiences to their friends too. I learn and share as often as possible, you never know when you teaching or learning til after fact.
