ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Clare and I live in Perth, Western Australia. in the past harshly dubbed 'dullsville' but some pretty awesome cultural things have been happening here over the last few years. A lot more to do and a lot more little bars and boutique places popping up (the hipster craze kicked off here as well!). I currently work as an educator for the gov in the drug & alcohol field, not preaching to abstain but to stay safe. I enjoy it. I have now explored much of South America, North America, London and South East Asia. I dabbled in a bit of couch surfing on my last big trip (5 years ago) and had such a great experience meeting people and getting to know places from the local point. I found it offered so much more than following where to go from a generic travel book. I have just booked flights to the states next year for a friends wedding in San fran and am hoping to CS dabble a little bit more!

I have CS several times before in Chicago, HCMC and Hanoi Vietnam. All experiences have been very extremely positive ones and I am excited for future surfing and offering my own couch to fellow surfers once I return home and get a place of my own once again
