HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think the CS community is wonderful. I'd love to simply share good company, no matter whether for a simple home cooked dinner or for adventures. CS brings people together in a way like no other - with trust, humility and willingness, and I hope that I can continue to contribute in a warm/welcoming way to this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met a bunch of people through couch surfing and have had amazing fun times.

I have really enjoyed hosting the people I have had the opportunity to host. When surfing I’m pretty much up for anything and same goes when hosting. Some things I have done with surfers when hosting include rock climbing, surfing, cooking up a storm, watching movies, frequenting cafés and pubs and some general good old fashioned hanging out.

I love that hosting couchsurfers inspires you to discover new things and places around where you live. I love that you can meet new people and learn all about them.

Interessen

When not working, I spend a good amount of my time at the beach, usually surfing, sometimes having a picnic or BBQ or just lying on the sand reading a book or enjoying the sunrise or sunset (there's a great beach a few blocks from my place). There's plenty of lovely beaches around Wollongong, they are all so varied, I never fail to be captivated by this variety. So if you're a surfer, this is the place for you! If you're an experienced surfer, I can lend you a board and potentially a wetsuit, or if you're a beginner, there's a great local surf school with great coaches, and you can sign up for this.

I love a good dinner party with good music and wine and good conversation.

I do also like op-shopping.

I love to explore new places I've never been, and there are endless nature spots around where I live, so we could potentially find somewhere brand new together!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: Folk-pop, Australian 80's to modern, some more psychedelic stuff, jazz, easy house, some good up-beat R&B.

Movies: mostly Arthouse and Australian.

Books: Existentialism types are probably my favourite.
