My musical tastes are activity dependent. I love listening to what could be politely called "coffee shop music" while I cook. I prefer shoegaze when I'm falling asleep, and when I'm doing nothing at all...I prefer silence. Or more accurately, I prefer the sounds that my home makes as it settles, or the soft drone of traffic from the road several streets away. I like to make space for all of the little music that's drowned out by everyday life:)

Swimming naked in the waters of a small, isolated atoll. The tropics are my happy place.

A private room, a bathroom, and what ever hospitality they may require. Recommendations for good food and wine in the area as well. Although, it's just as likely that I'll cook for the lot of us.
