ABOUT ME

I am a person that loves to travel and experience other cultures. I am friendly and mostly outgoing. I love getting to know new people and finding out who they are and what they're all about.I come from a small town in the mountains and so I am really into outdoor activities. On the other hand I can also be a girly girl who enjoys dressing up and going out.

PHILOSOPHY

I really believe that education (and not necessarily from a school) is the most valuable thing that a person has. It is so important to understand (or at least research) who you are and the world that surrounds you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far my participation is surfing 4 nights in Paris. I am happy to meet and show around any surfers that land in Seattle. And hopefully later in the fall I will have a place to host them as well!

Interessen

I enjoy studying languages, reading about world history, listening to music, reading novels, shopping, dancing, hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing,and playing volley-ball. I am also really interested in learning about new cultures, particularly their religions.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like most kinds of music especially alternative rock, electro, hip-hop and pop, or classical. My favorite books right now are Pillars of the Earth and World Without End. I don't really like to read heavy literature, its difficult for me to concentrate on, I prefer reading novels to relax. My favorite movies are many, but I really like a good comedy, drama, or mystery movie.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

When I was in Thailand I went snorkeling off of one of the scuba boats way out in the ocean. It was terrifying for me because I'm afraid of big fish, but being so close to them was exhilarating and the colors were unbelievable. It was incredible to be in such an unadulterated environment. Before that I had only seen most of those critters in an aquarium!
