ABOUT ME

Hey there!

Ok, so I am supposed to write about me in this section. I moved to Brattleboro four years ago and I LOVE IT! It is a really fun, small town. I take my dog and go hiking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. On the weekends my friends and I attend events at the local art galleries, book stores, museums, etc. I take drawing/painting lessons every week, as well as the occasional dance lesson - so far the tango is my favorite.

I also like to go to live music shows. Gogol Bordello was the last concert I went to.

I'm a big movie/sci-fi fan. I'm currently working my way through the new Dr. Who and Torchwood series.

And when the small town life gets a wee bit stifling, I like to do some traveling. Wales is next on my list, and I'm saving up for a trip to Japan in two years.

In summary, I'm your basic artsy-fartsy/sci-fi/music geek that loves to dance and travel.

PHILOSOPHY

There are far, far too many wonderous and beautiful things in this world to experience for me to sit in one place for too long.

Interests

Traveling, books (classics [like Jane Austen] and sci-fi/fantasy are my favorites), music (just about anything), dancing, oil painting and drawing, movies (anything except horror), art and history museums, hiking. Good food and wine are also high on my list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding an Icelandic pony across an old lava field while a snow storm was blowing in - eerily beautiful. I felt like I was on another planet.
