CURRENT MISSION

Right now I just want to learn to enjoy each day and live in the moment.... Meeting people, meaningful connections, learning to live life in a manner I can be proud of.... etc. In all this though I want to have FUN!!!!

ABOUT ME

Well... let's see. I am an actress, and right now most of my energy is put towards making that a viable means of making a living. I like the idea that I don't know exactly where I will be in a year. Travelling is very important to me and I think the world would be a better place if more people were willing to leave the safety net of their home town/country/culture. I love going out dancing, to the theatre, to the cinema, to festivals... but I find time is best spent with fun and interesting friends. I'm bisexual so definitely gay-friendly and open minded. I have one younger sibling who is living in London, England, and I am hoping to move there next year. Uhhhh not sure what else to put here... that's a pretty good basic description I think!

PHILOSOPHY

I think that I try to concentrate on one day at a time, to stay in the moment and really try to experience life rather than just going through it. I strive to bring honesty into my actions, thoughts, words and feelings.

As of now I've only stayed on other people's couches but those experiences were soooo lovely I just cannot wait to be able to return the favour to another traveller... although I know not many people come through Saskatoon, someday, when I'm living in a bigger city, I know I'll get the chance!

CouchSurfing is an amazing project which I am so proud to be associated with.... people are really so kind and generous it is astonishing. I get all mushy and overly-optimistic about the future just thinking about it!

Movies: I could spend all day every day watching movies. Recently I really enjoyed The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Milk and Slumdog Millionaire... I thought that "he's just not that into you" was surprisingly good... mmmm favourites of all time? Romeo + Juliet, Eternal Sunshine... I'm sooo bad at thinking of this. There are lots more. Mention one, I'll probably have an opinion.

I know a lot about the theatre and about acting... I've spent four years studying and practising it. I've had a lot of great and not-so-great travelling experiences and have some advice or stories to share in that area...I can knit and sew... otherwise, I'm not sure, ask me!

I really want to learn to speak french. I've taken some at school, but I need practice and I need to expand my vocabulary. I love Yoga and always am looking to improve my personal practice.
