ABOUT ME

We're from Quebec, currently traveling in Europe.
We speak a weird form of French.
Some people think it sounds like Russian, or German, most have no idea where we're from.
We met in Montreal. We hooked up after 8 years of sort-of-knowing each other. That was in summer 2006, so since then we've been living in our run-down but kickass appartment and travelling, at first New York, then europe, then europe again, which is where we're at.

Monster movies. Porto wine. Photography. German or Quebec beer. Fireplaces. Cats. Other countries. Well-made bread. Indian and Thai food. Mexican food. Quebec food. Architecture, new and old. Art, new and old. Remi likes newer, Isabelle likes older. Not all the time though.
Parks. Animals. Ways to help the earth or at least documentaries about it.

Joy Division, Nine Inch Nails, Love Is All, The Cure, Nirvana, Babes in Toyland or the Raveonnettes.
Isabelle likes 80's goth rock and some funny old pop tunes. She hums some traditional Quebec music sometimes. But we listen to everything, it's like from The Beatles to 60's garage surf to psychedelic rock to 70's early electro to 80's hits, throw in the first album of Smashing Pumpkins and also some Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Clash
We like music. You could say it drives the couple. But luckily, it's not. the only thing anyway.

Remi listens also to some noisy abstract crap nobody else likes.

lately, we were impressed by the Alhambra in Granada. Or rather that and ambiance on the hill on the other side: Sacromonte and the cave houses.
