ABOUT ME

I live in Rio de Janeiro and have my whole life. I grew up in the neighborhood Rocinha, the biggest favela in South America. Like many people who grew up in a favela, my opportunities have been limited, but I don't let that stop me from moving forward. My city is growing, and I hope to grow with it. I recently started a tourist company CARIOCAFREECULTURE.COM to give people a unique inside view of my world and community. Only recently has Rocinha become a hub of interest for tourists and visitors. I hope with this new interest, it will open new doors for me for my future... to make a living for myself and support me and my future family.. and the coolest part is meeting people from all over the world. I have not had the chance to travel, but I plan to! For now, I welcome you to Rio, bringing your culture and awareness to me, and I will share my local perspectives with you.
I love music, play the guitar and my dream is to sing English songs that I love :) If you like to play, lets meet up and jam and create some music together or just share some ideas.
