ABOUT ME

Hello!! My roommate and I are located in Lawrence KS. My name is Jessica and I am a student at the University of Kansas where I study dance, Installation and Performance Art, along with sculpture. I love to bake, sew, and dance. I make instruments. I love Ballet and modern dance. I am currently learning to play the drums and always exploring the wild terrain of Lawrence's forests. My family is the most important thing in the world to me. I love them more than all the wine and chocolate in the world.
I plan on a career with a professional dance company along with participating with all the arts throughout my life.

Creed is my roommate. He's witty and silly. He has an amazing gift of writing poetry and prose. We have lived together as friends for the past three years. He likes to sing in the shower in Italian and give huge bear hugs. He speaks Spanish quite well and is one the most unique people I have ever met.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a dancer, an artist, an opposer of nihilistic ideals, and a traveler of many states of mind. I believe that art is a connection to what we as humans have labeled as a "soul". An expression that underlays layers of consciousness and experience that connects us to every living thing around us. I use art to submerge into the illusion of separation between humans and other forms of life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have surfed friends and relatives couches but have just recently been introduced to couchsurfing.com (which is awesome!) We are fun, easy to get along with, and clean and respectful guests!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've (Jessica) backpacked in Europe and seen Canada and Mexico. I have also trained with Alvin Ailey in New York City as well as lived there.
Creed has spent time in Amsterdam and all over the states.
