ABOUT ME

I love life, and live it to the full! I often feel that I could do with at least 10 more hours in every day so that I can fit everything in that I want to do. I work as a self-employed gardener, but also as a Burlesque performer - and that contrariety is reflected throughout my life! I love going out, but I also love staying in, I love Dolly Parton, but also Techno, I love getting dressed up to the nines, but am equally happy slobbing around in jeans - you get the picture, I have broad tastes and like to try new things too. Last year I went to Burning Man for the first time, after many many years of wanting to go, I LOVED it! Now I am involved in the Burning scene in London, have met some incredible people, and am looking forward to BM '09.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this, and excited about the prospect of Couchsurfing. At the moment I can't offer a couch, but am happy to meet people who are visiting London, have a coffee or a drink, show them around, or just point them in the right direction. I am hoping to use a couple of couches myself, and feel that I would be a good guest, I'm a great cook, and pretty entertaining - even if I do say so myself.

Friends, dancing - particularly on a stage, podium or table, burlesque, dressing up, festivals - especially Burning Man, hula hooping, glittery shoes, drinking, snogging, nipple tassle twirling, feathers, sequins, eating, travelling, camper van-ing, gardening, swimming, cinema, cosy nights in, architecture - a bit of everything really!
