Hey there,
I'm Alex, 27 and I live in a semi-big town in south-western Germany called Karlsruhe (where I, unfortunately, cannot take in any travellers at this particular moment, but I' m working on that).

My wonderful girlfriend Maren is an eager traveller and has infused me with a new enthusiasm for exploration, as well as seeking interesting and sometimes obscure corners of our planet. If you have advice for us in that sense, we're always enthusiastic to hear it.

Owing to the fact that I study filmmaking and media art in a general context, I am quite attuned to artistic sensibilities in people, and therefore love meeting likeminded souls with a good sense of humour, a left-field approach to thinking and just general interesting weirdness.

People from the other side of the fence, one might say. ;)

I'm open to any kind of festivities as long as they are at least a little freaky or different from your run of the mill thing. But in general I'm a rather quiet, easily pleased and respectful person.

I am quite new to couchsurfing in this context, but would like to broaden my travelling-horizon via this plattform and gain some memories for the next couple of decades.
