About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to do something amazing and share it with the world

ABOUT ME

I'm a very curious and sincere person, I'm what some people call a 'scanner'. I like to go where I haven't been to see what I didn't know existed.
So, from time to time, I add things to my reality and it expands. I go to new countries if I can (if not I cycle through my city until (almost) passing out). I try to change what I think to be the best I can be. I constantly seek truth or something that approximates to it, and I want to improve the world somehow through what I do, and I wonder who are you if you got to this point.

PHILOSOPHY

Currently I strive (with various levels of success) to live applying what this quote says:

"Happiness is a form of courage."

and this one applies as well:

"I'm only interested in people engaged in project of self-transformation."

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host surfers whenever they appear in my life (I can't everyday, though), and I want to connect with everyone I cross.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Oh, well, look at the references. I've also been to some meetings and CS parties.

Interests

learning, writing-reading, design, art, music, improv, clown, traveling, talking, laughing, juggling, nature, magick, urban cycling and agriculture, and a little bit of everything that I find interesting on my way.

Music, Movies & Books

I love books, I already have too many.
This year I want to read (as far as my evergrowing and saturated list goes) more from Julio Cortazar, Robert Anton Wilson, some Cuban writers, Allan Watts, Murakami, Philip K. Dick, I've read the whole ASOIAF series this year... I want to finish Casanova's biography, and Dune... I'll see what I can do.

I like alternative rock, post-rock, folk, classic. However I don't know what to listen these days. There's too much music to listen these days...

Currently I don't watch movies, I feel I have seen too many already. And I don't watch TV, not a little bit.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

(I live though some rather small victories in everyday life, I say that counts.)
However, once I saw something about one hundred (fact: I can't tell or recall how many they were) elephants gather together on a dry river bed, afterwards some came up to where we were parked seeing them. One stopped on the road in front of us and stared at us for some seconds. Then he/she went ahead and smashed the little trees on hir path.
Kind of scary, kind of amazing. As many things worth remembering.
