I just quit a good job to go on one last wander around the world with my girlfriend Emma before we are too old to lift our backpacks.

ABOUT ME

About me...Well I am quite tall, dress badly and have really bad hair. Sometimes I have a beard, other times I don't. I try to be adventurous but most of the time I'm fairly lazy.

Listen and learn. I've never learnt anything listening to myself. Once you have tried to understand anything say I am sure you will agree with this statement!

Surfed and hosted. Met for coffee and attended the odd meet up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only good so far. That said, I haven't been very active in recent years and things have changed a lot on CS since I have been gone, but I am openminded.

Likes...People who dream. People who are interested in things. Smiley people. And old people with crinkley faces.

Dislikes...cynical people. Also known as fun sponges. Life is far far too short to be cynical about everything.

Musica, film e libri

Music, I enjoy noises in whatever form from around the world, anything a bit different or anything that has the power to relax. Spotify tells me my current playlist includes Jon Hopkins, Haxan Cloak and The Gloaming.

I will read anything that helps me to build castles in the sky. My favourite book to inspire the travelling spirit is As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning by Laurie Lee.

I can pull hideous facial expressions and although this may be a natural talent I will try to pass on this wisdom as much as possible. I can also try to teach you to juggle.
