Hey! My name's Arwen (yep like the Lord of the Rings character :D)
I work in a hardware store and I've just recently moved out of home for the first time with my boyfriend and bestfriend, Mark.
I like to consider myself as a pretty happy and helpful person. I love new and exciting experiences and meeting new people.
I enjoy going out to a bar, watching a band and dancing the night away but I also love to stay in, drink a glass of wine and curl up on the couch with a good book or movie.

Mark is a lot more active and outdoorsy than I am, he's 22 years old and he works in child care. He's constantly full of energy and definitely a kid at heart.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Mark and I are about to embark on a three month trip backpacking across Western Europe experiencing both city living and the natural landscape. This will be the first and hopefully of many trips together.

Living in hostels will be super exciting but we both want to experience and see a city how a you, a local, would.
Create a deeper appreciation for the places we're lucky enough to visit and make memories and friendships that will be cherished and of course, be told as stories in years to come.

Okay, so I once sailed across the sea for 10 days from Fiji to New Caledonia with my Aunt and Uncle.
With a lack of modern day distractions, I learnt a lot about my own mind, the importance of a good book and to remember to always put sunscreen on my feet when sailing across the ocean.

In the few years I've spent on this earth, I've heard some incredible stories from some spectacular people, I would love to learn and hear more and more and in turn, tell my own stories to like-minded people.
I think that it's important to share as much as possible and I hope to do that in my life.
My parents asked me what the meaning of life was when I was 4. "Life is about learning new things and having fun" and despite the fact that there's a very plausible chance I was probably eating dirt at the time, I still try my hardest to live by the words of my 4 year old self.

We love food, even more so, love a good conversation over food and are both very happy to offer that to you.

In all honesty, I'm not entirely sure what we can offer you but we’re clean, easy-going and always willing to help/give something a go :) I can promise, we’ll at least give you a laugh for your trouble.
