About Me
Hey there!
I'm a 28-year-old guy originally from Istanbul but now living in Stockholm, Sweden. I work a white-collar job, but I’m always looking for ways to stay active and keep life interesting. Whether it’s exploring new places, meeting people from different cultures, or diving into deep conversations over a cup of coffee (or something stronger), I’m all in!
I love a good mix of adventure and chill—one day, I might be hiking or trying out a new sport, and the next, I’ll be discovering hidden gems in the city.
If you’re into meaningful exchanges, spontaneous fun, or just need a laid-back place to crash, hit me up! Looking forward to hearing your stories and making new connections.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to experience a place is through the people who live there. Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay—it’s about real connections, cultural exchange, and those unexpected moments that make travel unforgettable.
I love meeting open-minded people from all over the world, sharing stories, and learning from different perspectives. Whether it's exploring a new city together, exchanging travel tips, or just having a good conversation over a meal, I’m here for the experiences that go beyond typical tourism.
If you're passing through Stockholm (or if I'm traveling your way), let’s connect and make the journey more interesting!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I am always up for discovering new sounds! But if I have to pick a favorite, Daft Punk has a special place in my heart and I also like Anatolian rock in general, but my playlist is all over the place.
Movies: I enjoy anything from cult classics to mind-bending thrillers and I watch tons of movies.
Books: Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy is a favorite of mine. I’m always interested in books that challenge perspectives or help improve life in some way.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 20, I sold my car to travel around Southeast Asia. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made—full of unforgettable experiences, incredible people, and a whole lot of adventure. Funny enough, I still haven’t replaced the car… but no regrets!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my knowledge on a bunch of sports, including American football, flag football, football (soccer), tennis, table tennis, and swimming. I also know the basics of salsa, rumba, and bachata if you’re up for some dancing! If you’re curious about Turkish music, culture, politics, economics or food (anything turkish basically), I’m happy to share anything you’d like to know. On top of that, I’m a game developer, and I can and love to talk for hours about games, tech, and products.
I’m open to learning anything new from anyone—whether it’s a new skill, a different perspective, or just a fun fact I didn’t know before.
What I Can Share with Hosts
