Couchsurfing for me is a field of exchange. I love to meet people and have a good talk, share experiences or learn from each other, help each other out for a night or two.
Connecting people with sports
my best friends describe me as: "Open minded, easy-going and very curious" couldn't say this better. Life can be very rich, if you open your eyes and your heart.
I'v worked for over ten years as an engineer so far for different companys and by myself. Besides I started some projects on my own and I'm coaching people who want to invest in themselves.
Sports always belongs to my life. Learning new sports gets me more fascinated than exceeding in one. I've done different martial arts (Taekwondo, Aikido, Hapkido, Kobudo..), Triathlon, tabletennis, soccer, ice-skating, Snowboarding, climbing, acrobatics, parcour and some more..
I'm no christian or buddhist, but live their values
I'm not vegan, but often eat vegan meals.
I'm not a minimalist, but live very minimalistic.
If you want to stay at my place and buy me a present, please don't. I honestly don't need it. Just share it. Pass it on to someone else in some way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing and offering my couch, engaging in events.
It is far more interesting, if you use couchsurfing not only to sleep cheap but to engage with people.
Some of my best experiences were ice-skating events in Frankfurt, where we skated together, met afterwards, talked through the night and slept all together at one place.
I adore people with special gifts like Nicola, who works as a Acrobatic-Yoga Trainer. We did some acrobatics together and played the piano 4 handedly. Just great!
I've had a variety of interests so far. Not easy to sum this up. Actually playing piano, human health and sports :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2012 Bike tour from Siegen (NRW, Germany) to Konstanz (close to switzerland)
800km on the bike, 6500 height meters, 18 days, a lot of nice cities, great impressions and fallen in love once.
2011 Commissioning of a waste heat recovery energy plant in Gomel, Belarus. The plant produces electrical power from waste heat out of a glass furnace. The commissioning took approx. 6 months. On this difficult and dangerous mission I almost lost my life as well as my friend. But finally we did the job and had a great time.
