Hello world! My name is Brooke and I am from Billings, MT, USA! I graduated high school in June of 2017 and I am on a gap year before I go to college in the fall of 2018. Starting in January, I will be heading to Europe for four months with my friend Ashly Helfrich (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/ashly-helfrich-1). I love being in the outdoors and exploring new places and really want to see the entire world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from around the world and see how their lives differ from mine. It’s really an amazing experience when you make friends across the globe and are able to share your culture with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Book: I have some weird love for psychology books that help you better yourself, but I also like reading nonfiction books about historical events. And also the Bible, of course.

Movies: I am practically still a kid at heart, so I still love to watch Disney movies like “Tangled”. But I also like comedies and pretty much any movie with Sandra Bullock in it.

Music: I love to listen to country music, the old stuff, not the new “pop” country music. Especially Zac Brown Band! I have gotten to go to a lot of really cool concerts though, like Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Florida Georgia Line, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Garth Brooks, and Zac Brown Band.

I guess I can teach my host how to shoot in manual on a dslr camera (sorry that’s not very exciting).

I just want to learn everything about the different cultures around the world because I know America differs from everyone else greatly.
