My name is Celine and I am from the lovely Black Forest.

I am an education student and future teacher :)
I will teach English and history in Germany, but for the academic year of 2022 / 2023, I am a Fulbright FLTA at the University of Scranton.

I would love to get in touch with new people and make friends! I think Couchsurfing is a fantastic invention and great to connect people from different cultures, establish good international relationships and offers unique insights into other cultures that you would never be able to get staying in a hotel or not interacting with locals.

My first couchsurfing experience in Dec 2022/Jan 2023. I traveled around the US by train and was lucky to meet a couple of Couchsurfing hosts. It definitely changed the way I think about traveling! I met so many nice people and had a great time with them, which also influenced my point of view regarding humanity greatly. I just love the fact that people can let a stranger into their homes and treat them like family and embrace somebody so unquestioningly - it shows me that humanity has great potential for peace and friendship, even though media oftentimes portray a very different picture! The instant connection and warmth you sense make Couchsurfing simply special.
