What to say here.. I am a curious and open minded person that likes to hang out with people and explore new things. I am pretty easy to deal with since what I like most is to do activities with friends and eat food (hell yeah!). I am the kind of person that usually doesn't have a prefered choice of what exactly I want to do - for me the enjoyment of doing something has always been about spending time with friends and awesome people!

I like to do new things and go outside and explore nature. For me this all started with my exchange semester abroad where I have also rediscovered hiking which since then has been a major hobby and interest for me and I hope to be going on many more hikes as time progresses :). Since that semester I have also travelled around a bit mostly visiting friends that have usually been living temporarily somewhere in Europe.

Now that I have finished my studies and saved a bit of money it is time to step up my game on go on a much bigger adventure.. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am about to start travelling in south east Asia in November where I plan to visit various countries, but foremost Thailand (where I will be starting) and Vietnam, as well as the ones around.
I hope to be able to meet some locals using this plattform and therefore have a more authentic experience of what it is like living in these countries as well as hopefully making many new friends :).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to almost all kinds of different music and have also played in a local music orchestra in my village for 10 years before I've left to go studying. Various genres that I enjoy are: Hardstyle including various related electronic music genres, (Punk) rock, german and international rap, classical music (piano, orchestra, ...), raggea / dancehall and more..

Movies: I love going to the cinema, but I don't have a major movie that I am into. I usually prefer comedy movies that make me laugh rather than fancy action movies that seem to be all the same. My favourite TV shows however are amongs others "Band of brothers", "Scrubs" and "How I met your mother".

Books: By far the best book that is out there is "Robinson Crusoe". It's the only one I can thinkg of while I have ready many other books like all the Harry Potter ones, but I am a Robinson Crusoe guy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hopefully the coming months travelling sout east asia will be the by far most amazing thing I have done. Other than this I have hiked/climbed many mountains in Norway and South Germany.

Some particular things that stand out are a week of travelling and climbing mountains every day in Lofoten, Norway which is just an insanely beatiful place to be. I've also been in an spontaneous road trip from Trondheim to Alesund which was a kinda stupid idea because nobody looked up the exact travelling time. But sometimes thats what makes it memorable experience! I've also been on a "cruise ship" from Stockholm to Talinn where a thousand students have partied through the night and let me tell you: there is nothing more fun than being drunk in a karaoke bar on a ship while the waves of the sea make you wobble from left to right!
On one of my pictures you see me on a quick dog sleeding tour which was inredible. I really hope to do this again one time!
