Hi, I'm Chrissie, I live in Karlsruhe, a great city in the middle of southwest Germany. I work as a doctor in internal medicine in the hospital nearby.
I always had a great time couchsurfing in the past - during my student time I was fortunate to be able to travel a lot and explore the world and the amazing people living there... Now my everyday life has changed to working a lot, doing shifts, but I really love my job so I'm totally happy with it a the moment. Anyway my interests haven't changed and although I'm living in a one-room-apartment with my boyfriend, I might be able to host you if you're around, or just meet up for some coffee.

If you really want to get to know a country, you can't just take Lonely Planet and travel around. That's another great way of travelling - meet other awesome travellers from all over the world, which is of course totally interesting too.
But my experience is that you never get the feeling of the place, that you have an idea of what is important to the people that live there, if you haven't stayed some time with them, saw their every day routine, talked to them, shared great moments... That's why I absolutely love couchsurfing!

兴趣

I'm totally an outdoors-person - I love especially hiking in the beautiful landscapes nearby - the beautiful black forest or around the uncountable wineries in the palatinate. Then in my free time I meet up with friends and family, cook, work with my plants in my private jungle and on my balcony ...
