Hi!
My name is Darinka. I was born and I have lived all my life in Mexico City. I studied psychology and history at university. Now I work in education, I help students that face learning difficculties to overcome them. I have also worked in scientific divulgation and rural education. I spent a year working as a guide in a science museum and I worked as a teacher in a marginalized community.
I love sharing with others the little I know and let others share what they know with me. I think there is always something to learn.

It think Couchsurfing is about solidarity, confidence, tolerance, respect, kindness and gratitude. As a society, we need to remind ourselves the importance of these values.

I love simple things. It's very important for me to have time to enjoy life. I love spending time with the ones I love, watching films, reading, listening to music, walking, running, cooking, sleeping :)

Films are what I enjoy the most. Wong Kar Wai, Krzysztof Kieslowski and Roy Andersson are some of my favorite authors.

I also enjoy reading novels, short stories, philosophy and, recently, poetry.
