About Me
Currently between homes, hence why I'm not accepting guests. I will again when i find somewhere to live back in Denmark.
I'm British/Australian who's lived most of his adult live in Denmark and calls it home. I'm currently in Australia, but moving back to Denmark soon. I look forward to being able to host people when I have a home again. I have done it a lot the last few years with my ex partner via her account: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/irenedilauro while we were living in Launceston Tasmania.
I enjoy travelling and have been going back and forth from the UK to Australia most of my life and as an adult have visited every continent except Antarctica and was at 55+ countries last time i counted.
I'm an activist at heart and have done a lot of food and cycling advocacy in the last few years. I'm also involved in a lot of different projects or have been over the years and started a few of my own too.
I'm also a keen cycling (hence the advocacy) and enjoy bike packing, though I've only started doing it in the last few years and only clocked up 2 bike packing holidays.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and make connections while travelling. Travelling is something I really enjoy, but without that local connection you just can't connect with the place you're in in the same way.

Music, Movies, and Books
As a teenager my favourite book series was the Tomorrow Series (By John Marsden), it really got me into reading.
More recently I'm reading fantasy novels, finished all of Trudi Canavan and most of Brent Weeks. I'm also know to read history books sometimes, though it depends on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled overland alone from Copenhagen Denmark to Yerevan Armenia over the course of 11 days. On numerous trains, a bit of walking, a minibus, a taxi, a truck, a bus, another bus and finally in Yerevan surrounded by taxi's hounding me a public bus from the bus station to the city centre. It was a journey, that last bit alone meant finding an ATM, getting money, buying a simcard and breaking up my money then convicing a very concerned bus driver that I wasn't crazy and no i did want to take the bus and i did know where I was going :P.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always open to skill sharing. I can't teach a lot of useful practical skills apart from gardening and dumpster diving, but I'm open to share what I know and learn from you too :).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Probably plenty of food, not nessesarily cooked, but if my past life in Copenhagen is anything to go on there'll be mountains of it around. Otherwise I'd be happy to show you around and take you with me to things :). Though I'm new to couch surfing I've hosted a lot of people via my ex partners account (I was often the one hosting our guests even though she was the "host" and otherwise I've always just enjoyed having guests and showing people around. It's fun being a tourist in your own city sometimes.
