Hi, my name is Emelie and I’m a marine biologist student in Stockholm, Sweden. I love to travel and some of my interests are; gymnastics, scuba diving, dancing, videography and meeting new people.

I live in a student corridor close to university and I’ve met so many international students living at this campus, it makes me wanna travel even more because it’s so great meeting people from different cultures.

My student life consists of partying, working sometimes at a student pub, working part time at a post office, being part of a student orchestra as a dancer, I also took some courses in lindy hop and tried salsa, Thai boxing and of course studying! I am now also gonna start swimming!

Mamma Mia and Me Before You

There is so much music that I like, for example I’m a sucker for musicals like Hamilton, the Book of Mormon, wicked. Going to NYC would be really cool and see a musical. I also enjoy Disney because who doesn’t???
Also swing from the 50s, Latino, Avicii, The Beatles, ABBA, radio music, the 80s and 90s and so on.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving and climbing to the very edge of a ruin in Santorini to watch the sunset. It was the only place with no tourists and was a magical spot.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn Spanish, French and how to surf. I’ve done it once and I managed to stand up but learning how to surf is definitely on my bucket list. And also how to sail. I sailed once a week long voyage and would really like to do it again and this time actually learn how to do it.

I can teach you the basics of lindy hop, or how to do a backflip when cliff jumping, or maybe you wanna improve your Swedish. I’m always happy to help!
