Hi there, my name is Helmar. Currently I am hungry and look forward to making a sandwich with cheese, cucumber and salad, maybe ham but I try to eat less meat and dairy as I want to contribute to making our planet a little bit better.

Generally I am very open-minded, like to analyze things as I am very curious and have a can-do-attitude. I like to listen, give advices and solve problems.

Originally I am from the mountain area eastern of cologne, now living in Karlsruhe together with my wonderful girlfriend Jennifer from the states. We look forward to move to Berlin right now and may be able to host someone then aswell.

Music: Generally open to everything with a nice rhythm that drives. My favorite genres incude electronic dance, break and bigbeat, Rock and Rap music

Movies: insert IMDb Top Films, mostly Thrillers like Inception, Revolver, Departed, Bulletproof Gangster, but also films like Inside Out, Bud Spencer andTerence Hill

Books: Not much of a reader, but when I do it´s either an adventure, a thriller or some educational books like currently.

In the past decade I was very engaged in Online-Gaming as time was a problem as a chef and I was moving a lot. One game, World of Warcraft, teached me the environment people are put into, living in, makes them do what they do. Now I want to contribute to any opportunity to make an environment a little bit better :)

In Germany I grew up near the big river Rhein (the one in cologne) and know a lot around that area. From abroad I can recommend you the most North-Western part of France and the Canary Islands. Malta and Athens are my last recents visits.

I can teach you some cooking essentials and how to improve on the way you nourish. I am very curious about how other cultures eat or things taste and would love to share ideas.

Also if you have a IT related question I can direct you in the right direction or maybe even fix something.
