Overview
About Me
I work as a freelance software developer and as a university teacher as well. I studied music since I was a kid and I seldom play the piano. I love classical music. I'm married and I've a 2 years old daughter, and I live in the southern part of the huge city of Mexico. I also like sports. I play basketball twice a week in two different teams.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to travel to conferences and I always had the feeling of missing something once my trips came to an ending. I think the reason was that it was hard for me to meet local people and get to know how do they live and how do they see the world. I'm confident that Couchsurfing will let me be in contact with that experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love classical music, in particular Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Bach and Manuel M. Ponce
I'm not quite a movie fan, but I like watching series from different countries.
My favorite books are GEB (Gödel, Escher, Bach) from Douglas Hofstadter, The Miserables, The selfish gene, Aztec, Corazón de piedra verde. In general, I enjoy scientific literature, and historical novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped people affected by an earthquake. I was able to find amazing people, willing to help and share its time, money and energy with those who were suffering.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My family, my dog, a couch in a small room, traditional mexican food if you're willing to try, a gentle talk, and some music if you like it.
