Accepting and deep thinking, I am often playing the role as an observer. I like to get to know people and hear about life experiences different than my own and connect with those that are similar. I enjoy new ways of thinking and delight in well placed humor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, and when I travel I would appreciate having places to crash along the way. It stands to reason for me to offer up my home for those who need the same while I can and I am happy to do so.

Interests

I love art and the outdoors. I also love reading, though I prefer audio books so I can listen while I paint, etc.
Hiking is another favorite of mine. I love Salt Lake if for nothing else than the mountains.
I also enjoy gaming. From NES to PC to XBox 360 to table top, gaming has been a love of mine since childhood. Highlights I will list are: Spyro the Dragon, Zelda, SkiFree, Skyrim, Minecraft, and Pathfinder RPG. And yes, card and board games must not be left out.

Music, Movies, and Books

First, books: I enjoy many genres but fantasy and science fiction are the bulk of my reads. Some of my favorite authors are: Edgar Rice Burroughs, Lev Grossman, Orson Scott Card, Kristen Britain, and Jim Butcher.

Movies: Love movies, but who doesn't? Some favorites (though not necessarily all acclaimed as good movies) are Van Helsing, Beautiful Creatures (as well as the books), My Neighbor Totoro, Matrix, LOTR and iRobot.

Music? Will try anything. Love The Doors.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well I'm pretty quiet unless you get me talking so you won't have to worry about noise control. I also love to cook if there is time and means and can cook gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, soy free and other if need be. I also like telling stories even if at this point my collection is lacking.
