ABOUT ME

I am open, joyful, (usually) full of laughter and smiles, passionate about what I do and a little indecisive on matters that don't really matter (like what to eat at a restaurant - luckily I have diminished my options considerably by cutting becoming vegetarian!).
For me, life is not as much about where I am or what I am doing, but who I'm with. I love the phrase "turning places into people".

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short not laugh and smile your way through it.
Don't resist all temptations, they may not return.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and in Ottawa, Canada.
Both experiences were really good!

I have also hosted three couchsurfers on different occasions together with my roommate here in Trondheim since august 2014.

Interessen

The way people live their life, and what gives them joy and meaning is what I love to experience - an attitude that led me to my studies in social anthropology. I love spending time outdoors, whether it be sunny or rainy, but just as much as I like to be on the move, I enjoy sitting down reading a book, listening to music, or just talking over a cup of what-it-might-be.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you some Norwegian, some Kinyarwanda (a bantu language) and Quebecois.
I can also teach you how to knit or crochet, and I know some Tam The (Vietnamese Tai Chi).
