About Me

Hey everyone! :)

About me: I'm a very chatty inquiring girl, who loves to think about life and all its beautiful sides. At the moment I study intercultural business studies in Marburg while slowly building up my own little life. I'm really into music, art and philosophy. A good conversation makes my day.

My family has travelled to different countries as long as I can remember. I think travelling kinda runs in our family. I love being independent and learning about different cultures. Things can be so different from home, but still so beautiful in its own way. I love meeting other travellers and listening to their stories or meeting up with locals and getting to know their lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My parents (https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/1107601) started to host couch surfers in 2009 and still do. We had many people from different countries staying at our home. It was always exciting having different people staying with us, telling new stories about their experiences so far. When I was traveling through Germany with my sister in summer a couple years ago, I was couchsurfing for the first time myself. (At that time we used my sisters account: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/tamara-herbst )

Teach, Learn, Share

If any one is interested, I can always try to teach anyone German.

I would love to have my kiwi accent back. Really miss it heaps!

Having a good and deep conversation about art, philosophy, life, music or anything else is probably the best way to share experiences :)
