My first solo adventure led me to Japan—a trip that sparked a lifelong love affair with exploring the world. Fast forward 12 years and 40+ countries, and my curiosity for cultures, cuisines, and connections is as vibrant as ever.

I believe in the magic of slow travel, savoring authentic local cuisine, and forming genuine connections through CouchSurfing. From being welcomed by strangers to hosting fellow travelers, these moments have shaped my adventures. They also inspired my blog series, People Are Nice, where I share stories of kindness from across the world.

When I’m not chasing sunsets or soaking in ocean views, I’m organising unforgettable weddings as the founder of The JoySmiths. Our motto, “Spreading joy for the love of it,” is not just a tagline—it’s my philosophy. Now, I’m blending my twin passions—travel and weddings—into a journey of a lifetime, curating destination weddings that bring dreams to life.
