About Me

My name is Nicolas, I'm 21 and come from a small village near to the French and Swiss boarder.

Almost two years ago I started eating as plant based as possible. That's why I'd love meeting more and more people around the World with a similar mindset.
Right now I am living the student life in our somehow weirdo flat-sharing community. It's definitely worth a visit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having finished school I spent one year living with my hosting family at Mwanza, Tanzania. Being in East Africa I took the chance to see more from the region and I traveled to Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda.
Back then I made my first Couchsurfing experiences.

Interests

Baking my own bread has become my passion. You can do it so many different ways. Very scientific or just stirring the sourdough. I imagine becoming a father almost feels like holding your own bread in your hands.

I love playing nearly all kinds of sports. I think it's not only a nice workout, it's also connecting people to each other despite nationality and all that fiction stuff.

I'd say I'm quite interested in modern architecture but also the cozy buildings built many, many years ago.

Being in Tanzania I created the habit of climbing the highest possible building or view point in the city. I like to get the overview and how the landscape looks from a little distance and of course you can take some proper pics from up there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately I discovered the Indie/ Alternative genre and I have to say it's quite cool.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That seems to be the place where everyone has to swagger, isn't it?
For answering the question: Nightfishing in Lake Victoria was quite an experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to bake your own super nutritious bread. If you like I can hand you some sourdough so you are able to bake your own.

I can teach you how to cook a really nice and juicy pumpkin soup. Not joking, you will love it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I got a Polaroid Cam. For remembering me forever and onwards, we can make use of this device.
