About Me

Acting is something that has captivated me for the last year and turned out to work quite well for me. I love improv acting and perform regularly. I’m also a teacher and run an acting course in one of the best media schools in Kyiv, Ukraine. The reason I’m so passionate about it is that acting and improv in particular help you better understand yourself and people around. I love people, they are insanely interesting and there’s so much to learn from them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In Ukraine we have analogs to Couchserfing, which I used a lot and the idea has helped me to make new friends from all over Ukraine. There is something about this challenge of accepting new people as they are and letting them into your quite intimate space - your home and vice versa. A good way of capturing life experiences. I use this app for travel around Europe, since it is most popular there. Now that I have a place to host people it might be a great opportunity to host people as well, looking forward to it!

Interests

I like history, art, theatre and movies, archeology and memes.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is no specific music I like, because it is about emotion for me most of the time. But if I concentrate and listen, it would be jazz, funk, any dance music.
Films - anything made by late Woody Allen, he is my absolute favorite.
Books - I'm not into fiction, so I read books on various subjects I will need in the future. One of my favorite is an autobiography of Richard Feinmann, a nuclear physicist.
