Hey, we’re Olivia and Mariano from Wales and Argentina. Mariano left his country over 2 years ago to start travelling the world, beginning in South America before going to Europe where we met each other whilst doing a workaway in the Black Forest in Germany. After a month of living and working together, Mariano moved to Cambridge with me. I am a student and during my Summer holidays we are travelling across Europe with our backpacks doing workaway. Neither of us have had a lot of experience with couch surfing, but we would love to give it a try! We can share with you are love of food and make Argentinian pizza, empanadas, tuna tart, welsh cakes, trifle, cheesecakes, anything you want to try from our countries or the countries we have visited during our travels. Mixing cultures together, meeting new people, making friends, experiencing different ways of life and exploring new places are the reasons that we love to travel. We want to share with you our cultures and our stories whilst drinking mate ( tea from Argentina).

We are in the middle of a four month travel around Europe. We started in Seville, along the coast of Portugal, the south of France, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Southern Ireland, Northern Ireland and then back home to Cambridge. We love to cook !!! Being from two different countries ( in two different continents) we can share our unique mix of Welsh and Argentinian culture with you. Mariano is great at making empanadas, pizza, tuna tart and other Argentinian delicacies , where as I love to make Welsh cakes and British desserts! We drink mate ( tea from Argentina) every day and want to share our stories and learn from our hosts too. We can help you with your English or Spanish and help around your home.
