About Me

CURRENT MISSION:
Right now I'm doing an exchange semester in Krakow, that's why I'm currently not hosting people.

GENERAL:
I'm studying meteorology in Karlsruhe since Oct 2015. I also make music and I play volleyball :)

I want to give people from all around the world the opportunity to travel and stay with locals, make some new friends and have a good time and a lot of fun here :D
I chouchsurfed in New Zealand as well and I want to give travellers the same chance as the hosts gave me in NZ.

ABOUT ME

I'm a happy guy enjoying life. I love doing sports, making music and I enjoy talking to people.
Friends and family are very important to me and I spend much of my time either with my family at home, on family holidays, or I with my friends when we meet up or do sports or just hang around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet other people from all around the world and make new friends!
Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to explore a country for travellers.
And it is a good chance to meet new people and get to know new cultures from all over the world for hosts.

Interests

Music: I've been a drummer in a jazz band at my home town, that was really cool and I'm trying to find something like this again. I can play the piano and the guitar a little, teaching myself....
I listen to a wide range of music and very often. I like everything about it: Listening to it, making it, dancing to it:P

Sports: I play in a Volleyball team and used to play in a Handball team. Me and my friends love playing some basketball together and I like doing sports in general.

Science and nature: of course I'm interested in science, otherwise I wouldn't study meteorology where you need a lot of physics and chemistry.

Religion: I'm very interested in Religions in general and I'm open and keen to learn something about your religion.
Myself, I am religious person and I live the Christian live, loving and praying to God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to pretty much everything:
Punkrock, for example Yellowcard, I've seen the Foo Fighters live in Christchurch), Billy Talent etc...
Hard Rock like AC/DC or Airbourne, but also Joe Cocker (R.I.P.) rocks!
I listen to the stuff from the radio, whatever is on.
I like the Spanish or Latin music pretty good, stuff like Enrique Iglesias or Daddy Yankee.
And maybe even sometime some HipHop or, 70s, 80s, 90s, you choose :D

Movies: Guess I've seen some, yeah... :D

Books: I like stuff from Dan Brown for example.
And for my studies I have to read quite some physics literature....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled New Zealand for half a year, did a skydive there in Wanaka and had a great time with lots of cool and funny people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I just wanna have a good time with you and some fun, that's the main thing, you don't have to teach me something, I just wanna share as you do to.
Always interested in your culture and food e.g. how to cook a typical meal from your country.
I'd like to learn some new instruments like guitar or bass guitar, or any instrument or music you can play or teach.

Of course I can show you my own culture, my language, some German meals and stuff like that ;)
I can teach you some Music things, how to drum a little bit or so.
And we could do some sport together, I can teach you the Volleyball techniques for example (if you are interested in)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some stuff as I said before like drumming or Volleyball. I can share some typical German stuff if you're interested in German culture. Or if you need a helping hand with some garden work or whatever I'm a tall guy and I'm sporty :P
In Karlsruhe, I can show you some places to grab food or go out and some other nice places like the castle garden.
