I love camping in a minimalistic way, fully enjoying nature. Drinking water from a stream, cooking whatever we can find in a local store, and pitching a tent where there are no neighbours. Enjoying the wind, the view and the mosquito's.

I am a health nut. I love learning about healthy nutrition and I am a 'whole food plant based, no oil, no salt, no sugar'-vegan.

My next experiment is: living in a van with my dog, testing out how minimialistic I can live and still be happy, pushing the boundaries. Learn which wild plants are edible, go hunting (yes, I am vegan, but my dog is not).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2004, I drove on my recumbent bike all around Scotland (from Edinburgh, to Isle of Skye, to the Orkney Islands and back to Edinburgh). On the Isle of Skye I had a small accident and broke my bike. I got help from a local car-technician, who fixed my bike. I asked him "what do I ow you?" And he told me "pass it on to someone else". And since then... that's just what I do.
