Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm doing exchange in Karlsruhe - Germany for 1 year, I would like to know more about the differents European cultures and try traveling around the Europe while I am here.
I know the couchsurfing a long time but I never tried to use it before, some friends had good experiences and I would like to try it too ^^
