Hi, my name is Sierra! I'm an outgoing and friendly person from Portland, Oregon. I am currently living in Stockholm, Sweden as an au pair. I am also a college student studying Intercultural Peacebuilding. I find joy in serving others and making meaningful connections. Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and making connections around the world. I traveled to Peru in 2016 and I'm still in frequent contact with the locals that I met there! It is so fun when people show you, or tell you, about their city because it makes the trip much more meaningful and authentic. I believe in the goodness of the human kind and Couchsurfing is one way to personally connect with that positivity. I look forward to making new friends, having quality conversations and experiencing different countries in such a unique way!

Intereses

I grew up climbing trees, exploring caves, attending cultural events and eating fresh produce from our garden and local farmer markets. I still greatly enjoy the outdoors, learning about different cultures and eating good food. I have many hobbies which include, singing, dancing, photography, hiking, serving others, cooking (and eating) Indian food, reading, writing poetry, skiing, watching documentaries, Latin dancing, horseback riding, painting, spending time with my siblings and having genuine conversations about life.

Música, películas y libros

- I enjoy all kinds of music from classical to pop but my favorite is Alternative music. I love attending live concerts and shows :)

- My top three favorite books are, Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese, Les Misérables by Victor Hugo and Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. I also enjoy historical fiction.
