About Me
I'm a twenty-eight year old physics student who just finished his master's degree. Right now I'm planning to join up with a couple of friends in Canada. After that I'll probably continue my research on organic semiconductors as a PhD candidate.

Music, Movies, and Books
I pretty much enjoy all films by the Coen brothers, especially "The Big Lebowski". Generally I prefer movies with a somewhat sensible story and/or atmosphere over the ones that mainly rely on effects. If that's the case, I don't really care about the genre.
I'm not that good at finding new books (and don't really enjoy the search...), so I mostly stick with what's recommended/lent to me. The recommendation I enjoyed most probably was the fantasy novel "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. When I want to read and don't have any recommendations, my go-to author is Terry Pratchett. I usually just pick up on the discworld-series and get hooked stop until I'm fed up with their common style/humor.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in a student's dormitory with ~99 roommates. To me they are like a big family (including the regular need for compromise and minor quarrels) that accepts you the way you are and with which you can have an incredible amount of good times with.
