About Me
Travel is all about experience, finding and sharing new stories. Through this community I would like to make travelling more wonderful exploring the cities with them and making new friends.
I'm friendly, honest and optimistic person who looks forward to discovering new things. I'm of a curious nature and a bit of a risk taker, always ready to accept challenges. I am a good listener, and listening to travel stories and amusing experiences is something is thoroughly enjoy.
I'm fondly interested in Music and am trained in Indian Classical Music myself. I know a few dance forms and enjoy making oil and acrylic paintings on canvas. Photography is a new interest I have taken up, along with cooking-I can cook Indian dishes as well as some continental dishes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get to know new people, their stories and journeys. It is a good platform to share and also learn new ideas and actions. I believe when you meet new people it opens up the mind further and maybe gives a new dimension to one's thinking.
I have just started my journey as a traveler and I want to travel countries and cities by tasting its local flavour and not as a tourist. I think Couchsurfing is one of the ways that would make it possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
In Music, Blues, Jazz, EDM, acoustic and Classical.... everything works according to the mood ;)
Among Movies, 'Sound of Music' and 'Hachiko' has been an all time favorite; 'Interstellar', 'Shutter Island', 'The Prestige' and many more are on my list.
In Books, Khaled Hosseini's 'A Thousand Splendid Suns' and 'Kite Runner' are fabulous reads; 'The Purple Hibiscus', 'The Zahir', 'Palace of Illusions' are good too (just to name a few)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1)Went for 3 am bike rides, felt the cold breeze on a December night in my city. Feels like the world belongs to you.
2)I recently took my first solo trip to Berlin, and it was very exciting.
3)Trekked a hill in Wayanad (Kerela, India) called Chembra peak, and viewed a beautiful 'Heart-shaped' lake.
4)Have traveled the entire Southern part of India almost.
5)Have knowledge regarding the architectural features and history of certain Indian Temples.
6)Have tasted the local food and drink from every part of India- East, West, South and North.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always ready to learn about music, dance or art and share my part of knowledge about it. I like discussing about matters of society and some intellectual subjects.
I can teach a bit of cooking and making desserts. I can also share my singing and dancing skills and teach if anyone is interested in learning.
