My names Vanessa I'm currently living between Berlin & Karlsruhe, Germany. My current roles are student, bartender and I'm currently taking a bit of a break before diving back to work.

I spent my childhood between the US and Haiti, then spent some time in East Asia, before settling in Germany for my studies.

I'm pretty big on traveling, cooking, drinking wine while I'm cooking, reading light-hearted books on vacation, and other peoples pets. I'm a pretty political person and enjoy getting people's take on their local government, but of course, if that's not your thing then we don't need to engage with that topic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy seeing new places from a local's perspective, and I've heard good things about couch surfing so I'm keen to give it a try.
