About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm back to couchsurfing to relive the amazing experiences of meeting incredible people I had some years ago when I first tried it. I then lost my password and deleted the account, so stopped for a while. since then I missed the excitement of meeting hosts or hosting new friends myself.

I'm hoping to get more active this time and share and get inspired!!

Interests

I'm fascinated with people, they inspire me to discover new and unexpected sides of me, so I guess first of all is human interaction...I also love hiking, camping, hitchhiking, the sensation of freedom of being in nature is only intensified by the simplicity inherent in those activities, living this simple way (even for short periods) helps you realize how much you actually need to live your life. I love philosophizing on anything, better if it's around a table with nice drink and food (one needs to know how to indulge oneself every now and then).

I love cooking and discovering new foods and flavors. I get a thrill from street markets, so I travel to find them. I also occupy my days with Computers & Coding, Gardening, Sewing and Knitting, Philosophy & Sci-Fi & Comic books and a lot of laziness.

Music, Movies, and Books

(re)current obsessions: Gardening , DIY, Permaculture reads, Buckminster Fuller, Vilém Flusser, Hannah Arendt, Thoreau, Orwell, Foucault, Deleuze & Guattari, Sadie Plant, J.G. Ballard, Asimov, William Gibson, Valéry, Flaubert, Octavia Butler, Beckett, Elizabeth Bishop... been very touched by movies from Fassbinder, Kluge, Godard and Bressane...chaotic music taste: in the span of an hour will go from japanese noise to ambient/elevator...

What I Can Share with Hosts

- Some computer knowledge;
- Great food (hopefully cooking together);
- A knitted, personalized present ; )
- An offbeat point of of view and sense of humor..

Countries I’ve Lived In
