Canada Montreal

With its French roots, Montreal is like a piece of Europe in eastern Canada. It’s got wonderful architecture, a great culinary scene, and festivals celebrating the city’s artistic personality. Visitors can start by walking up to the Belvedere Observatory at the top of Mont-Royal for an excellent view of the city and mountains beyond. Visit the Basilique Notre-Dame, one of the most ornate gothic cathedrals in the world, with a famous, massive organ. Spend some time strolling the streets of Plateau Mont-Royal, a lined with Victorian houses and fantastic local boutiques. This historic neighborhood embodies the personality of Montreal itself, so lose yourself for a while here and just wander.
