Hello ppl from San Antonio!
Me and a friend are hitting SA early Jan 2016. Would like to try the local experience and see the best in SA. What activities do you guys recommend?

Riverwalk downtown is a must see along with the alamo. When you are there, you get a good feel of the city vibe.

You should also check out Fredericksburg to the north. They have some amazing beer, German food, and Enchanted Rock is nearby; a great hike and picnic spot.

Hey guys!! Looking to find and enjoy an awesome karaoke bar while I visit San Antonio in June! I tend to prefer a more divey joint rather than a super crowded "hip" sorta place.... Any suggestions for me??

clicks billards not sure if its certain days of the week though. Pegasus Night Club (if you don't mind the gay scene) has it all the time! Also one of my favorite places to go and all people there are nice and so much fun!!!

I am coming to San Antonio for one week (for work). I would like to know more about the latin dance scene here: which bars feature salsa, bachata or kizomba, and which days?
Any info is welcome, and if you want to meet up, let me know!

Arjons is a good place, sometimes it gets pack, especially Saturdays, but if you go early you won't have any problem. You can also check their web page. Have fun! :)

Hi everyone. I'll be in San Antonio for work at some point this fall for a couple weeks.
l could use a recommendation of cell phone service that includes Internet. I'm looking for something contact free and it needs to work with a GSM smartphone. Also, I need something that would work in Michigan too. Any ideas?
Also, I'm totally up for hanging out /meeting people when I'm there. Unfortunately, I'm not 100% sure when I'll come but it'll probably be either the end of October or the beginning of November. Feel free if you'd like to meet up. Heck, I'll probably even make an event some I've been known to visit new cities and do so :)

I would suggest you go with METRO PCS, the system is backed up by T-Mobile and there is no contract, plus its cheap, only $30 per month! If you would like to be friends, hit me up!

Ting probably offers the cheapest and most reliable service. Check them out they have both GSM and CDMA--I think they resell sprint and T-mobile? Not really sure but I have had both services. You may have to get a sim card or new/used phone.

Hey all, I'm generally always traveling and visit breweries (and brew myself) whenever I can. I was hanging in Florida when I got a message from a friend in NY who got tickets to the Spurs game 1 playoff game this Saturday, so I'm hitchhiking that way now, hoping to get there a day or two early to check things out.
What are the best breweries and beer bars you guys know about there, anything that absolutely can't be missed?
If you're still in town, Alamo Brewery under the Hays Street Bridge is a fun place, and right next to Big Hops, which has dozens of beers on tap. The Cove, the Friendly Spot, and Burleson Beer Garden are also great places to get local beers.
For others in SA, Ranger Creek Brewery is on the northside, and Freetail is in Southtown. Real Ale is in Blanco, just north of SA.
