I joined couchsurfing when I stayed in China for nearly a year. It gave me the oportunity to get to know many different very nice people and I don't want to miss that in my future travels. To give back I would like to host other travellers now that I am back home. When I travel I like to hitchhike and see where it takes me if I have enough time. It takes a lot of trust in the goodness of strangers. But it's totally worth it since I get to experience local people the way you couldn't do inside a train or an airplane. And it's much better for the environment!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Inspired by a movie I saw about a couple travelling the world without much money and staying at people's homes I wanted to add that to my travels. Because I think it changes the way you experience a country when you see how the locals live and when you meet many new fantastic people.

Interests

I'm interested in nearly everything. I like to talk to many different people about many different topics to understand their point of view. I like hiking, camping and generally any kind of sports. In my freetime I go rock climbing and swimming. Also I'm eager to learn new languages because a language is the key to every culture.

Hitchhiked from Shanghai to Hongkong, travelled 10000 kilometres overland, visited the wonderful Nature and the people of Pakistan
