Hi there, im Rodi. I'm a master's student in computer science and I currently live in Karlsruhe, Germany. I'm 24 years old. When I'm able to find some free time between my semester breaks I try to travel as much as I can within my student budget, see new places and meet new people :)

When I'm travelling I do like to keep it slow, not stress myself over seeing everything, connect with people as much as I can in a limited amount of time and that's the most important part of travelling for me.

What makes a place beautiful are the people living there, so the conventional way of touristing seems a little off to me.

Interests

I'm a hobby musician. I sing, play oud and ney, traditional instruments from the so-called middle east :)

Photography is also a huge passion of mine, it kinda motivates me to see places and to be aware of my surrounding :) It is also a big part of my travels, I try to capture the rhythm and soul of the place I'm in and I believe I do it fairly well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Huge fan of Daphne Kritharas, and her kind of music. I have a soft spot for old sephardic, spanish, greek and turkish songs :) Mediterranean all the way !!

I can offer a respectful host-guest relationship, entertain you with my stories 😅 I believe I am what most people consider as a "decent", kind and empathetic person with hobbies/interests so it shouldn't be boring :)

I can cook fairly well and I'm a clean and organized person overall.
