Hyderabad was established in the 16th century by a wealthy Muslim family, and that foundation gives the city a culture that is so unlike most others in India. One of the top things to see in Hyderabad is the Golkonda Fort, where you can roam the sprawling ruins of a medieval fort that overlooks the city. Get an authentic Indian shopping experience at the Laad Bazaar, a market most renowned for it bangles of all designs and colors.
